Galapagos Islands

A Naturalist's Dream

The Galapagos Islands are the ideal destination for your next vacation travel adventure. Famous for a variety of unusual creatures from marine iguanas to blue-footed boobies, you’ll get closer to the wildlife than you ever imagined or would be possible in any zoo! Six hundred miles west of Ecuador, these volcanic islands experience unusual Pacific Ocean currents that bring unique climate and nutrients to the birds and animals that have adapted to fit these conditions.  With no natural land enemies, the animals and birds are unfazed by people. Comprised of 19 islands, 42 islets and 256 prominent rocks that span a 20,000 square mile are on the equator, the Galapagos are a national park and Marine Reserve that must be seen in order to be fully appreciated.

We will be traveling aboard a luxury Millennium cruise yacht for the majority of this tour. It has 6 comfortable double cabins with air-conditioning, private bathrooms, scenic ocean views and so much more!

What to Expect

Climb aboard your luxury Millennium cruises ship as you travel the equatorial waters surrounding the Galapagos Islands. Enjoy private ocean views, an elegant dining room and 4 different solariums where you can enjoy the spectacular scenery of the islands. Your days in the Islands will be filled with informative briefings, snorkeling, wildlife viewing, and relaxing. Enjoy ample opportunities for both snorkeling and hiking. Most hiking and walking ashore includes rocky lava terrain; walking shoes with rubber soles are recommended. Book your tour in late spring to enjoy this climate at an ideal time—tropical heat tempered by Pacific breezes.
