Enjoy over 11,000 different orchids in the Lankester Botanical Gardens.  Visit the famous Waterfall Gardens.  Stroll through the largest butterfly garden/ hummingbird sanctuary in the country.  

On  your boat ride into the Caño Negro Biological Preserve you can expect to see turtles, crocodiles, monkeys and a multitude of water fowl. 

Travel through the Tilarán Mountains to the world-famous Cloud Forest Reserves at an elevation of 4,600 ft.  The reserves are home to 100 species of mammals, at least 2500 species of plants, & more than 320 bird species including the Resplendent Quetzal--perhaps the world's most beautiful bird.
