The Copper Canyon Adventure Park sports the longest single line, the second longest zip line course in the world and the third longest cable car ride in the world (6 km). For those who like speed and adventure, one can fly across the canyon system on a seven jump, eleven platform zip line course which extends over 4 miles through the canyon. “ Flying” at over 2300 ft. above the canyon floor and walking across the two suspension bridges allows a dramatic view of the canyon floor which you do not experience from hiking or even from a helicopter. The zip liners will return at the end of their course on the cable car. A visit to the adventure park will not disappoint.
One of the greatest features of the Copper Canyon Adventure Park is the wide variety of experiences available to their visitors. Weather you wish to simply see the view, shop the local fair or experience some thrilling zip-lines there is something for everyone.
Take the long distance line, the Ziprider, for a fast ride across 2,530 meters of the canyon. After, you will take a quick 800 meters hike to the center of the park. Alternatively, a 7 zip line course is available and is the S&S favorite. It features the longest system of zip lines in the world and includes 7 jumps and 2 suspension bridges. Zip line riders will take a one way cable car ride back across the canyon to cap the adventure park excursion.
The Cable way features two cable cars that depart in opposite directions every 30 minutes to and from the main Copper Canyon Adventure Park area. Along the 1o minute journey from one side to the other, enjoy impressive views of the whole canyon.
Via Farrata offers rock climbing, repelling, and Tarzan jumping. Start with a descent of 45 meters by repel. Continue forward, climbing in between rocks, across suspension bridges, through a cave, and complete a Tarzan jump. A single wire bridge with two safety lines and a vertical climb complete the course.
The Air Forest is the newest experience offered at the Adventure Park. Enjoy nature up close in this canopy activity. It includes 1 zip line and more than 10 suspension bridges between the pines.
Barranco Restaurant is also available to relax, enjoy the view, and get some refreshment.
Cycling, hiking, ATV rides, a children’s play area and eurobongy trampolines are among the other exciting opportunities available to visitors.
